What are our shipping fees

Free Ground Shipping is only valid on orders $50 or more and for shipping addresses in the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii, U.S Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, military and air force bases. Orders below $50 after discount will be charged $8.95 for Standard shipping.

Due to nationwide shipping volume, you may experience a delay. We are keeping a close eye on all orders and will update you if we anticipate a change. We appreciate your patience.

UNITED STATES / 48 CONTIGUOUS STATES
We strive to get your merchandise to you as quickly as possible. The cost for shipping is FREE for your entire order in the 48 contiguous United States. Most orders are shipped the next business day after they are placed. We ship all orders in the continental US via FedEx/OnTrac or Airterra. Orders arrive within 3-7 business days unless Next Day shipping was selected.

HAWAII AND ALASKA CUSTOMERS
The cost for shipping is $24.95 per order. Items going to Hawaii and Alaska are shipped via FedEx and arrive within 7 business days.

US VIRGIN ISLANDS, PUERTO RICO & GUAM CUSTOMERS
The cost for shipping is $24.95 per order. Your order will ship via FedEx or Airterra from our facilities to our international shipping station in Connecticut where the merchandise will be inspected and then reshipped out to you via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.

MILITARY/AIR FORCE BASE CUSTOMERS
The cost for shipping is $14.95 per order. Your order will ship via FedEx or Airterra from our facilities to our shipping station in Connecticut where the merchandise will be inspected and then reshipped out to you via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.

What are our procedures

SHIPPING CONFIRMATION EMAILS
We will send you a shipping confirmation email when all or part of your order is shipped that will include the FedEx/OnTrac/Airterra tracking number. You will be sent a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number for every shipment. You can also check the status of your order anytime by clicking on the Order Tracking link in the footer of every page on this site or by logging in to My Account and going to My Orders.


SHIPPING IN MULTIPLE PACKAGES
If your order includes several items, they may ship separately and at different times. So that we can deliver your purchases to you as efficiently as possible, items which ship from the same location are grouped together. Our shipping confirmation emails will let you know how much of your order has shipped.


TRACKING YOUR ORDER
1. Click on the Order Tracking link in the footer of each page. You will need your order number, billing last name and billing zip code.
2. Log in to My Account and go to the My Orders section. From there you will be able to choose which order you'd like to view and you will have an option to track the order.
3. You will receive a shipping confirmation email when all or part of your order is shipped. The email will include the FedEx/OnTrac/Airterra tracking number.


DELIVERING YOUR PACKAGE
We process, ship, and deliver packages Monday through Friday. At this time, we do not offer shipping or delivery on Saturday, Sunday, or holidays.
Your order may be delayed if your shipping address is different from your billing address (we use this additional time to help ensure the security of your credit information).
Most items are available to ship in 1-2 business days unless otherwise noted.

 

SHIPPING CANCELLATIONS
If your order includes pre-order items, there is a small chance that certain preorders may be cancelled, based on demand.  You will receive a cancellation email if your order will not be shipped.

 

How will I know if my order is confirmed?

You will receive an order confirmation via email.

Can I make changes or cancel my online order?

Please contact us immediately via Live Chat or phone to cancel an order. Once the order has been sent to a shipping facility, we are not able to cancel it. Most orders start processing within 20 minutes after they have been placed. In this case, we ask that you please wait until the order arrives and follow the return procedure.

Can I change the style, color or size after an order is placed?

Please contact us immediately via Live Chat or by calling 1-877-525-2833 . If you contact us within 20 minutes of placing your order it may be possible to make changes. However, once an order begins processing no changes can be made. Most orders are shipped within 24 hours. In this case, we ask that you please wait until the order arrives and follow the normal return policy procedure. Final Sale items may not be returned or exchanged.

When is my order shipped?

Most orders are shipped the next business day after they are placed. We use FedEx/OnTrac/Airterra ground shipping for all orders in the continental US. How can I track the status of my order?

If you have an account with us, please Sign In and go to "My Orders". Click "View Order" under Order Detail & Tracking. Next to the item(s) you will see the FedEx/OnTrac/Airterra tracking number. Click on it to see the status of your shipment.

What if I place an order and Dolce Vita doesn't have the item in stock?

If we are unable to fill your order you will be notified via email. Your credit card/PayPal account will not be charged. You can also check the status online by signing in to your account and going to "My Orders".

What is a Pre Order item? What if I want to cancel a Pre Order?

A Pre Order item is one that you are ordering before we have it in inventory. All preorders are charged on the 6th day since the order is placed. You may cancel a pre order item up until the time your order has begun processing. To cancel a preorder item please contact us via email at info@dolcevita.com, Live Chat or by calling 877-525-2833 . Once your order has been sent to a shipping facility it may no longer be cancelled. There is a small chance that certain preorders may be cancelled, based on demand, in which case refund will be issued the same day the order is canceled and usually reflects in 3-5 business days.

I placed an order with AfterPay/ShopPay Installments for a pre order/back order item. How will I be refunded it I want to cancel that order?

If you cancel the order, AfterPay/ShopPay Installments will be notified and any upcoming installments will be cancelled/adjusted and all payments made up until that point will be refunded.

What is the difference between a Pre Order and a Back Order?

A preorder is an item sold for the first time on our website. Be among the first to wear these hot new styles! Orders will ship on or about the date mentioned on the product page. A backorder is a product which we currently don't have in stock but we are accepting new orders for it and, just like preorders, will ship on or about the date mentioned on the product page. All preorders and backorder items are charged on the 6th day since the order is placed. There is a small chance that certain preorders or backorders may be cancelled, based on demand, in which case refund will be issued the same day the order is canceled and usually reflects in 3-5 business days.

I placed an order with AfterPay/ShopPay Installments for a pre order/back order item. Will I start paying my installments once the pre order/back order item is shipped?

AfterPay/ShopPay will start processing the installments as soon as the order is placed.

How can I find a DOLCE VITA shoe I am looking for?

You may click the search icon in the upper right corner of every webpage. Then click on the word "Search" that shows in the bar and type in what you would like to find. You can use the search by a style name or category.

What forms of payment are accepted for online purchases & when am I billed?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal. We do an authorization when the order is placed to verify that the funds are available. We do not charge your card or account until the order has been shipped.

What are AfterPay and ShopPay Installments?

AfterPay and ShopPay Installments are services that allow you to pay for your order with 4 equal payments made every 2 weeks, interest free. To use AfterPay or ShopPay Installments simply shop as usual and proceed to checkout and then choose AfterPay or ShopPay Installments as your payment method. You will be directed to their website to register and provide payment details. If you’ve used either of them before, just log into your AfterPay or ShopPay account.

Why do I have to pay sales tax on my order?

We are required to charge sales tax in Arizona, California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Washington because we have retail locations in these states. In addition, due to local state tax laws we are required to charge sales tax in Colorado, Hawaii, Indiana, Maine, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming. Sales tax does not apply to orders shipped to addresses in states not listed here.

What shipping options are available in the continental USA?

All orders in the continental USA ship via FedEx/OnTrac/Airterra ground unless Next Day shipping options were chosen at checkout for an additional fee.

What are the shipping fees?

Shipping within the continental USA is a flat fee of $8.95 per order. Express shipping options are available only in the continental USA for Next Day for $30 per order. Express Shipping orders must be placed by 1:00pm EST.
Shipping to a Military Base is $14.95 per order. Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Guam is $24.95 per order.

When will my order be delivered?

No, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. We ship everything via FedEx/Ontrac/Airterra & need a street address.

Can I ship an order to a foreign country?

We offer shipping to Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam and Military bases. Your order will ship via FedEx/Airterra from our facilities to our international shipping station in Connecticut where the merchandise will be inspected and then reshipped out of the USA via Federal Express International or United States Postal Service (USPS). Please allow about 2 weeks for delivery.

Can I ship an order to multiple addresses?

At this time we can only have one shipping address per order.
However, you may place multiple orders.

What is DolceVita.com's Return Policy?

We gladly accept returns of UNWORN merchandise within 30 days of delivery except clearance items, which are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged. Returns will be refunded to the original method of payment. You may obtain a return authorization using the Return Center

* Return or exchange via mail: You can either print a shipping label and drop off at FedEx location, or you can take your item(s) in to a Happy Returns Return Bar to get your refund initiated immediately. You will receive an email when your return is received and your refund has been processed. Shipping charges are not refundable. Refunds are always issued to the original method of payment.  To prevent a delay in refund, returns must be shipped back within 7 days since the return label was issued. Start by visiting our Returns Center .

* Return or exchange in person with Happy Returns : Bring the item(s) you wish to return to a Happy Returns Return Bar location near you. No receipt, return label or shipping box necessary! You just provide your email address or order number and your refund will be initiated immediately. You can go directly to a location or Start Your Return online for an even faster in person experience. Shipping charges are not refundable. Refunds are always issued to the original method of payment.

How do I get a return shipping label?

You may obtain return authorization by visiting our Returns Center or via phone, Live Chat or e-mail. You will then be able to print a prepaid return shipping label. You may drop the package at any FedEx location. We gladly accept returns of unworn merchandise within 30 days of delivery. This excludes clearance items which may not be returned or exchanged.

What is the usual turnaround time for returns?

The usual turnaround time is 1 - 2 weeks from the day you give the package to FedEx or USPS until the merchandise is checked in at the warehouse and the refund is issued. Do not ship items back through any other means other than the prepaid return label that we provide as package may be returned to you.

How will I be refunded for my return if I paid with AfterPay or ShopPay Installments?

Once your return has been processed, we will notify AfterPay/ShopPay. AfterPay/ShopPay will then refund you the installments paid up until that point and cancel or adjust the remaining payments. Please also see our Return Policy for more details regarding our return process.

Can I exchange an item for another size, style or color?

If your item does not fit, please start by visiting our Returns Center . You will be able to choose your exchange online and if the item is in stock, it will be shipped as soon as you drop off your item at a Return Bar or at a FedEx location. If your exchange item goes out of stock before your original order is returned at a Return Bar or scanned via FedEx, your original order will be refunded. If you wish to exchange for a different style or color, please place the order for the item you wish and then call customer service at 1-877-525-2833 to get return authorization and a prepaid FedEx shipping label to send the item back to us as a return. When you call customer service please have your new order number handy so they can file the return as an exchange and a full refund will be issued once the merchandise is received at our warehouse.

What is your policy on damaged items?

If you receive damage or defective items, please notify us immediately via email, live chat or call 1-877-525-2833 and we will send you a return label. As soon as the item is received back a full refund will be issued.

How do I return an item I received as a gift?

If the item was purchased on DolceVita.com you may contact our Customer Service department and they will issue a Gift Exchange return authorization.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Instagram and their respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, directors and members (the “RELEASED PARTIES”), from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever, including without limitation, property damage, personal injury (including emotional distress), and/or death, which may occur in connection with preparation for, or participation in, the Sweepstakes, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of the Prize(s) or participation in any Sweepstakes-related or Prize-related activity and for any claims or causes of action based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.  The Released Parties assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to Entrants or to any other person’s computer, regardless of how caused, relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with this Sweepstakes.  Entrants acknowledge that Sponsor has neither made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representations or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any Prize or any component thereof.  Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Entrant or Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of New York, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New York. In addition, any dispute relating to the Sweepstakes (including these Official Rules) shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal court having jurisdiction over the subject matter located in New York County, New York.  Entrants hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of said courts and waive any claim of forum non conveniens or lack of personal jurisdiction that they may have.  Any and all claims, judgment and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys’ fees, and under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and further waives any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.

       

      1. Instagram not a Sponsor: This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.  Any and all questions, comments or complaints regarding the Sweepstakes must be directed to Sponsor, not Instagram.
