Friends and family of Dolce Vita:

Our priority is the health and wellness of our Dolce Vita team, our customers, and the entire community. In an effort to support the stay-at-home movement to slow the spread of the virus, we closed our offices last week. It goes without saying that all Dolce Vita employees will continue to be paid and supported in their positions working remotely throughout this period.

Though we have been able to be flexible to this situation as a company, we realize the devastating impact this is having on far too many. We have cancelled all upcoming events and are instead focusing our efforts towards helping others. Our first immediate action is to send a donation to Feeding America to support those in need during this time.

Please stay tuned for ways you can join us in helping others. Be safe and be well!

Due to COVID-19 school closures, an overwhelming amount of children have missed out on daily meals. To help support No Kid Hungry, we have committed to donating $3 for every pair of shoes sold over the next three weeks (a minimum donation of $10,000) to the organization. We hope you will join us in supporting those in need during this time by adding your own donation at checkout.

About No Kid Hungry:

No child should go hungry in America. But 1 in 7 kids will face hunger this year. No Kid Hungry is ending childhood hunger through effective programs that provide kids with the food they need. This is a problem we know how to solve. No Kid Hungry is a campaign of Share Our Strength, an organization working to end hunger and poverty.

To our Dolce Vita family,

As we know all too well, there is currently a severe need for medical supplies around the country. Our home city of New York has been hit especially hard, with supplies dwindling day by day. Through our connections with suppliers, we have been able to secure and purchase 10,000 medical-grade masks. We will be distributing these masks to the following hospitals this week:

  • Evergreen Hospital (Seattle, WA)
  • Legacy Hospital (Vancouver, WA)
  • Maimonides Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY)
  • Montefiore Hospital (Bronx, NY)
  • Mount Sinai (NY)
  • NYC Health + Hospitals / Kings County (Brooklyn, NY)
  • NYU Langone Hospital (NY)
  • Overlake Medical Center & Clinics (Bellevue, WA)
  • Swedish Medical Center (Seattle, WA)
Though the hospitals have expressed such incredible gratitude, we realize that this donation of 10,000 masks is only a minor fraction of what is really needed. Our hope in sharing this is to encourage you all to do what you can to support those in need during this time, whether it’s making a donation of your own, or simply helping to spread awareness. Every bit helps!

We hope you all are staying healthy and well, and we look forward to those brighter days ahead!
