There are not really many super hotels to be found along the coast.

There's the Baglio Santacroce at Valderice, 9 km. from Trapani, Tel:0923-891111, Fax: 0923-891192. Housed in a restored baglio (an antique rural construction which provided farmers with temporary shelter), complete with hayloft and stables. 7 km. from the shore, with a fantastic view. 25 rooms.

A few kilometers away, in Bonagia, the four-star hotel Tonnara di Bonagia, is located at Piazza Tonnara, Tel:0923-431111, Fax: 0923-592177, some 12 km. east of Trapani. It is found in the midst of an antique tuna fishing village (in Italian a tonnara is the point of departure for tuna fishermen). The hotel boasts 41 rooms and 52 apartments, pool and beach.
