A walk to Albero del Sole, the island's highest point (only 133 meters!) and judging by the couples watching the sunset, a most romantic spot. In all truth, it's prettier in the early morning when the rising sun plays on the surface of the water.

Linosa. The black sandy shores of this tiny volcanic island contrast starkly with the pristine white of Lampedusa. Both islands are part of the Pelagic archipelago and are connected by hydrofoil during the summer months. Linosa measures only 5.5 sq. km, with a volcano and a most unique little village at its center.
