Napoli is one city which delivers a 5-point blow to the senses: the views (sight), the heavenly cuisine (taste), the bracing scent of the sea (smell), spontaneous outbursts of song in the streets (sound), and the physical temptations to which all mortals are subject (touch).

![]() | Napoli is the perfect example of how a city can powerfully affect all of our senses at once. And accomplish that in its own unique fashion. It is an intense city, with more than ever to offer, due to the city council's decision to regenerate the city's tourist appeal and cultural presence by means of a series of initiatives promoting Napoli's historical significance and cosmopolitan nature. |
![]() To the visual delight of tourists, over 50 churches have been opened to the public in the last three years and many of the most beautiful piazzas have become pedestrian zones closed to traffic and parking. The general touristic infrastructure has been improved, particularly in the areas of public transit and security. Napoli is a wide-open invitation: there are sights to see sight, specialities to tickle the taste-buds unique in all the world taste aromas which refuse to be ignored smell and songs to be sung sound. Imperceptibly, slowly but surely, the city invades you and the expansive Neapolitans themselves slowly infect you with their gestures and open-handed manner touch. This explains why Napoli represents such an overwhelming experience...in all senses. |
