Liguria

Genova (Genoa)

Italy's largest commercial port. A busy city with its Medieval center intact, its streets just wide enough for a bicycle. Visit Europe's largest acquarium, and the Città dei Bambini, an extensive children's playground, in the Porto Antico, the area of the old commercial port renovated and dedicated to various sport and leisure activities. The eastern stretch of coast is rich in small towns with tourist appeal.
