This lovely osteria is a mere 6 kilometers from the city center. Housed in a farm-style country home, the cuisine is accordingly old-fashioned; the atmosphere suitably familiar. Menu favorites are pasta corta con sugo di porri (pasta with leek) and such unusual items as donkey stew and horse steak, still enjoyed in the region.
