Shopping:

Pasticceria Rossi
Ph: 031/950196

Under the portals of the Piazza Mazzini, this charming pasticceria has preserved its 19th-century decor and specializes in "pane mataloc" (which means something like "Nutcase Bread" in local dialect). It is a sort of fruitcake to be eaten thinly sliced with tea or cappuccino, or after a meal with a small glass of dessert wine.

Concentrated under Piazza Mazzini's portals, near the Pasticceria Rossi, Bellagio's fine shops are splendidly appointed with turn of the century furnishings. The merchandise is top quality, from designer label clothing to embroidered linens. Be sure to check out Gold Crown Jewellry and Maison Grandi silk scarves and ties as well as Fontana at Manzoni 46 on the shore for knits and the ultimate in romantic sleepwear!
