Sailing the Mediterranean Sea:
Sights and sounds, Smells and Spices
The 22 meter cutter is outfitted with 4 double cabins with WC, to accommodate one crewman and eight guests. Impressive is the ship's mess which seats 12 -- just the thing for Claudio's elegant cuisine served on fine Limoges china and Flemish linens. The chef brings everything on board, including crystal, silverware and a floral centerpiece. A sea voyage provides its own special brand of entertainment: the able manoeuvres of the skipper, the sails puffed out with wind, the bow cutting through the water towards some of the most amazing spots in all Liguria. Portofino, Santa Margherita, the Gulf of Savona. If evenings provide the best moments to enjoy Claudio's specialities, the day is meant for sunning, swimming and relaxing (or perhaps getting a few secrets out of Claudio?) and learning a bit about sailing.
The best time of year to sail the Ligurian coastal region and take best advantage of what it has to offer starts in May and goes straight through to October.
