3. The YOU YOUNG BY COVERI show featured a famous Italian starlet, Alessia Merz, basking nude in a bathtub filled with milk. The daring exhibition sparked off a fashion controversy as to whether spicing up the shows with product-unrelated showmanship has any place at the shows.

4. Best overall atmosphere around was at the KRIZIA show held in Via Manin 21, Milan. The music was fantastic and the entire event harmonious. High-profile visitors included Carla Sozzani, director of Vogue Italia and well-known fashion reporter Natalia Aspesi.

5. The FENDI collection was created by Karl Lagerfeld, who appeared at the end of the show flanked by Naomi Campbell and the other models.

6. Following BLUMARINE'S successful show, designer Marina Molinari received an order from none other than singer Madonna. Plans are currently underway to open shops for the popular label in NYC and Los Angeles.
