The next fashion wave bears down on Italy's Fashion Capital, as Milano hosted the presentation of the latest Milano Collezioni. The shows, running from October 2-10, set the size and shape of the coming spring/summer season, along with their counterparts in Rome and New York.  There is an exhaustive peripheral program of vernissages, cocktail parties and celebrations which stir up the Milanese night life, filling the hot spots, banquet halls and elegant galleries with visitors and locals alike. The models and performing artists on the catwalk are backed by an army of professionals, all out on the town during this peak week, promising a parade of gloss and glitter on the streets of fashion, the Golden Triangle between Via Montenapoleone, Via Sant'Andrea and Via delle Spiga. For the entire, exhilarating week the eye of fashion will be trained on one location: Milano.
