Moda Milano Uomo 2002

Laura Biagiotti has chosen a different route, following trends presently making themselves felt in Italy: caught in "Harry Potter mania," guests were given "Perfect Witch Kits". She's conjured up enchanting white raincoats, and using antique looms has reworked old cashmere cardigans. The end-effect recalls the mini-sweater of the 70's. Special effects during the show left the audience literally spell-bound!

Versace's man is mature, but still cheeky! He's a fellow Donatella identifies is the person of former rock star Iggy Pop.
The gypsy man has reappeared here as well, wearing low-slung trousers wide at the leg, decorated vests and fur-trimmed parkas.
The wool beret gives her man a touch of the "grunge," making him the best sort of elegant rebel! The materials used are of the finest: leather, cashmere, silk and a superb quality of leather. The colors are primarily navy, brown, gray and black, set off by a touch of red.

The Rocco Barocco collection was shown in the courtyard of the Salumaio di Montenapoleone, an ideal setting for the somewhat bizarre combination of jackets classic in cut and color, with trousers splashed with paint. This is a man with a dual personality; he's the serious guy with a creative edge. Another of the collections gimmicks is a wallet chain extended in front from one pocket to the wallet in the other a bit of fashion nonsense that has the added advantage of discouraging pickpockets!
