Moda Milano Uomo 2002
Gucci

Other designers however took quite a different stance in stark contrast to these collections. Gucci's models, for example, were decked out like stars from Hollywood's Golden Age, walking through the glare of flash photography down a white faux-fur runway. Gucci proclaims a masculine need for formality and security, which calls for image-making elegance. Gucci's style is somewhat melancholic, reminiscent of the 1930's also in its wide trousers. The detailing is unmistakable: from the coated top-stitching on the rain coat under a wide-brimmed hat to the classic Dick Tract trench and high-gloss black leather shoes.
