Castiglioni (1970), by Zanotta In keeping with the current tendency toward mixing minimalism with a new-found appreciation for Japanese simplicity and efficiency, Castiglioni designed a low-slung, individual table/chair combination for the dining area. The backless chair is based on now-familiar ergonomic principles to promote good posture, the difference here being that the feet are tucked back under the seat, Japanese style. |
