Italian
Designers move up Homes are wearing designer styles of late, with
Made in Italy labels. Recently introduced lines of accessories,
furnishing and personalized decorator items reflect the distinctive
flair of the designers whose names they carry: Armani, Versace,
Bulgari, Pitti, Trussardi. |

Versace Home Collection
The fashion house has entered the homeware sector armed with the aesthetic parameters of the Victorian age, recalling its charms and reconstructing it using the finest materials. The Versace Home Collection has rediscovered the luxury and delights of that period, lending the designer's unique touch to the home environment. Colors, prints and decorative items lend a refined aire to furniture, cushions, glasses and even vases and cutlery. After signing off a line of noble ceramics for the bathroom, Versace has moved on to right and proper "clothing" for the home, maintaining the name's unique quality so well-loved in the U.S. |

Giorgio
Armani homeware The opening of the Spazio Armani in Via Manzoni has opened the way to a series of innovations that the stylist has had in mind for a long time, such as the La Linea housewares line. Armani has not wanted to limit himself to small accessories, textiles or dinnerware. Indeed, his idea, mulled around for a good two years, has always been to create an entire landscape, going from principal pieces of furniture such as sofas, tables and beds to a whole collection of accessory articles, all touched by the Armani magic. |
| The designer's dream was to create something
new and different, and it seems he has succeeded. The collections color range represents an absolute innovation in decor: khaki greens, grays which melt away into beige, anthracite shot through with lapis. The fabulous fabrics used would be quite at home in the clothes closet: velvet, linen, cashmere, cotton and wool. Even the kitchen is decked out in Armani these days: bistro glasses from Murano adorned by golden leaves, an adorable square Chinese tea pot in blue ceramic, bowls in stone or lacquer from Vietnam, stoneware tone in tone dinnerware from greens to grays. |

Bvlgari
The essence of Bulgari design has met its match and succumbed -- to the quality and purity of the Rosenthal porcelain. These innovative candleholders are available in both circular and square versions. Three new coffee services have arrived on the scene, following on the heels of the successful Bvlgari Home Designs tableware. They are unique and inviting, alluding to clandestine mid-morning espresso breaks and rich, after-dinner delights. |

| The Itaca, Mani al Vento (Hands
in the Wind) and Pascolo Rupestre (Rocky Pastures) motifs have been
innovatively applied to grace the espresso cup and saucer, sugar bowl,
creamer and cake plate. Itaca's particular appeal is its intrinsically Mediterranean quality. The unique pattern features elegant olive branches and coral colored amphoras adorning an unusual pistachio background. It is a most attractive and distinctive line, a treat in itself! |
