The Trento exhibition |
The present Trento exhibition "Mario Bellini. Un percorso tra architettura, mobili e macchine", curated by the artist himself, offers the ideal means to fully understand how creativity can be applied to technology and urban studies. |
The
exhibits represent a comprehensive view of the designer's career, including
architectural models and furniture and project objects. Among the architectural
models, the most significant and familiar are the Fiera di Milano and
the Tokyo Design Center, constructed in 1992. Design projects of note
include the celebrated "Cab" chair designed for Vitra and the innovative
"Divisumma 18" calculator for Olivetti. |
The
Mario Bellini exhibition constitutes a continuation of the Civica Galleria
di Trento's architecture&design initiative which began with an event dedicated
to Philip Starck, followed by a Matteo Thun feature in 1999. |
