capital of the magnatum Pico, and spread in the post-wars years through
the 1970's to a much larger area.
Monferrato and Roero are on a par with Langhe in terms of production
and product promotion, evidencing a strong presence at the various fairs
throughout Piedmonte. The regions offer ideal conditions in the fall
