Carpaccio is an Italian favorite, especially popular in the warm
summer months.
The thin slices of raw beef can be arranged artfully on either one large
platter or on individual salad plates. Lemon juice and oil are used
as a marinade, and garnishes are numerous and varied.
Ingredients:
150 gr leanest beef
sliced paper-thin
Olive oil
Lemon
Block Parmesan cheese in flakes
Salt and Pepper
Optional ingredients:
Arugula lettuce
shredded Chopped artichoke hearts, uncooked (yes, we're serious -- try
it!!)
To prepare:
- Arrange the slices of beef to cover the plate - Dress the meat with
lemon juice and oil to taste - Season with salt and pepper - Dot with
flakes of cheese
